This is an entry for December 26, 2002, jigga!

You know when you do random, spontaneous things because you're so incredibly bored? Yeah, well, Mitch Cho, Eug Ahn, and I went to Las Vegas today because we had nothing else better to do with our time (i.e. we're retarded). It was something we had planned on doing but never got around to actually doing. Anyways, we dressed up to look older (yeah...we're retarded) and Mitch attempted (and utterly failed) in making a fake ID using his driver's license. (Mitchell's an idiot and this whole trip was his brilliant idea. Hahaha... I'm kidding!) We had one lofty goal: to eat at the fancy shmancy buffet at the Bellagio. We had heard great things about this buffet abounding in delicious delicacies and this day, we were going to have our fill of lobster. Or so we thought...

Hahaha... We ended up eating at some ghetto 24-hour buffet by the name of the Surf Buffet. Apparently, all the fancy hotel buffets close by 11 PM at the latest, and as we arrived in Vegas around 10:40, we pretty much missed what we had came for. Anyways, the food at the Surf Buffet was OK. It was slightly worse than Hometown but it was no UC Berkeley dorm food.

In order to salvage our dignity and to avoid feeling like fools, we told ourselves that this was a scouting trip and that we now knew the buffet system of Las Vegas like the backs of our hands. Yeah... We're fools. But who cares? We're gonna do it again!!!
